In Fort Myers, nurseries are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Florida, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Check the listing for hours, seasonal closures and Google rating before you go.

Fort Myers is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fort Myers follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great experience! I ordered a Brassavola nodosa orchid from Sunland and it was shipped the same day I ordered and arrived to Ohio in very good condition. I didn’t expect the plant to have flowers but it has several open flowers and at least one unopened bud when it arrived. Would recommend and will probably buy from here again

Visited with my wife, who loves Orchids, a few days ago. Vanessa, the owner, could not have been more helpful. I doubt there anyone else in the area who knows these plants like she does. She attended to us personally, explained the different varieties, and helped us select plants to my wife's preferences. This is THE PLACE to go if you want Orchids that probably can't be found anywhere else in SW Fl;orida. Great to be able to support a locally owned small business.

Wow! The orchids and bromeliads are gorgeous, unique/rare and plentiful. And bonus, Vanessa is the most knowledgeable and helpful nursery owner/orchid grower I have ever met—and I’ve met a lot. She patiently and enthusiastically answered a ton of my questions. I will DEFINITELY be back.

Fantastic hidden gem! Many exotic plants that were very out of the ordinary. The expert staff was extremely helpful with picking plants that equaled my gardening abilities. Plants are available for the average home gardener to the experienced collector. Plant care was given and each plant was carefully packaged for their journey to my home. Limited parking. I look forward to returning for my next addition to my home garden.
